Not the quality I was expecting from a theme park. Staff lacked knowledge about the park. I also had a mother ask me for help finding her lost four year old son. She said no staff would help her. By this time the child was missing for over 15 minutes. I spoke to the closest staff with a radio and I was told they called that in ten minutes ago. I feel Valley Fair needs to step up their safety and protocol game. Very displeased.

We love Valley Fair, we go often as Gold Pass holders and enjoy it each time. With that being said, the hiring has really gone down hill and makes the experience less enjoyable. We added the meal plan onto our passes and I am regretting it each time we go. It would take less time for us to walk back to our vehicle in the parking lot, eat a packed lunch from a cooler and walk back in than it would to get served at ANY food location the in the park. There are at any given time 4-6 employees standing around talking while one person gets food prepared and served. I am not sure if only one person per location is trained to prepare food, or if this is by choice Either way it should be addressed. Also, each time we go up to get our drinks (also added onto pass) or our food it looks like we are bother the employees. They look irritated to even have to help. We will be rethinking our add ons next year (Family of 5). Aside from the service aspect we absolutely love the park, and appreciate your ability and willingness to make it easy for a family who has a child with special needs to enjoy the park. At a place that already has long lines and a lot of people coming through it might be worth taking a look at why it takes 30-45 minutes to get food ordered and served. We still love it there, just may not spend as much money next year due to the food service this year.

Lots of fun! A little pricey unless you get a season pass. I highly recommend getting the food add-on when you purchase it. That gives you two free meals a day at any restaurant. With the price of food there it's well worth it

It's a great place to enjoy the entire fun filled day! Food & Drink prices are a bit steep - but manageable if you do the all day meal & drink plan! Best 40.00 spent! The attached water park is a nice change from all the rides, and included with the park entrance fee.

This is a nice amusement park, and when compared to the other parks in the country, this one is above average. However, this isn't a top tier amusement park, and it's been more than ten years since they last added a roller coaster.  If you really want a thrill, I'd recommend either Kings Dominion or Cedar Point.  Also, the price of admission here is relatively cheap, especially if you buy a season pass during the fall for the following year. However, be aware that the food and drinks inside the park are outrageously overpriced.
