Mile High Fourth of July Celebration

Start a new Independence Day tradition by attending the inaugural Mile High Fourth of July celebration, July 1-4, 2016. The resort towns of Banner Elk and Beech Mountain, located high in the Blue Ridge Mountains, have combined forces on a four-day extravaganza to celebrate our nation's independence.

The centerpieces of this fun-filled weekend are Beech Mountain's Fireworks and 47th Annual Roasting of the Hog on Saturday (July 2) and Banner Elk's Fourth of July Parade and Party in the Park on Monday (July 4).
