Mountain Friends and Freedom at Stratton Mountain Resort

Mountain Friends and Freedom is Stratton Mountain's annual evening celebration for the Fourth of July Weekend happening on Sunday. There is fun for the whole family with live music and fun family activities. Let the kids play on the CORE Bar climbing wall or sign up for the hot dog eating contest, or everyone’s favorite Fourth of July pie eating contest.

The outdoor stage is set for live music by The Dave Matthews Tribute Band at 5:30pm. The DMTB is the only nationally touring tribute to the Dave Matthews Band. This 5-piece ensemble strives to pay homage to their famous counterparts by matching the excitement, energy, intensity and intimacy of a DMB live show.

Stick around after the show as we send our July celebration high into the sky with fireworks at 9:00pm free to all for viewing.

Fireworks are free and do not require a ticket. Event gates will open at 8:30pm before the fireworks begin. All events are subject to change. Please check back here for regular updates

Mountain Friends and Freedom Tickets can be purchased online and then picked up at the HUB (Next to Gondola), Guest Services (Base Area), Black Bear Lodge or the Welcome Center. Tickets are $15 in advance; $20 day of event. Kid's 4 & Under are free but must be seen at ticket window to receive their free ticket. *All Prices plus taxes. Concert is rain or shine.
