Our 10K course is a runner’s dream. You’ll run a (mostly) flat course around gorgeous Lake Miramar, which ends with a long downhill finish.
Strap on your lightest running shoes and come set a personal record that will stand until next year when you do it all over again.

Using stats-of-the-art timing chips, the 4th of July 10K is a USATF certified and sanctioned 10K event around scenic Miramar Lake with a fast, downhill, PR friendly finish.
Craft Beer Garden

Sip sip, hooray! We’re bringing all your favorite local craft beers back to this year’s beer garden.
Did we mention it’s free with your registration? Bring your ID and bib to the garden entrance and we’ll get you right in.

Awards and Medals
Medals are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each 10K age division.
Cash prizes are given to 1st ($300), 2nd ($200), and 3rd ($100) place overall finishers in the Men’s and Women’s Divisions. First place male and female finishers will also be awarded the Ron McElliott Cup.

After you cross the finish line, the fun is just beginning.
Join us in Hoyt Park for the best after party in town where we’ll have live bands, a (free!) craft beer garden, bounce house, inflatable slide, silent auction, face painting, sponsor booths, treats for the kids, and so much more.
Check-in, Start and Finish Lines
Check-in
The Check-in tables open at 6:00am on July 4th and are located at the intersection of Aviary and Red Cedar Drive.
Start Line
The 10K Race starts at 7:00am on July 4th.
The Start Line is in front of Miramar Ranch Elementary School on Red Cedar Drive.
Runners will make a full lap around Miramar Lake. We’ll call out your times at the 1 mile, 2 mile, 5K, and 5 mile marks. Aid stations are at the 2 and 4 mile marks.
Finish Line
The 10K Race finishes on the grass at Hoyt Park. Please follow the directions provided by the finish line personnel.
